First Friday Bike Night at the Museum of Art & History represents the kick-off celebration to Bike Week and is hosted by Ecology Action and Bike Santa Cruz County! Bike Night is a family-friendly, inclusive experience for community members to learn about local bike resources and celebrate biking in Santa Cruz. The event features a host of activities including:

• Free helmet giveaway, helmet stenciling, spin bike art and bike decorating
• Freestyle trials bike stunt show by Matt Meyer
• Local artists bike themed art fair, with art and crafts for sale
• An 8:00pm Community Bike Ride hosted by Santa Cruz Bike Party. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated bike!
• Live music from 6:30 - 9:00pm
