Bike the Bay - Youth Bike Tour

Join Bike Santa Cruz County for our 9th annual youth Bike Tour! This 100+ mile trip is a great way to explore travel by bike and a perfect summer adventure! We will cycle to Monterey on Saturday, July 14th and stay two nights at the Monterey Hostel, returning on Monday the 16th.

Along the way we will stop at an organic farm to pick strawberries, explore Pacific Grove, enjoy a BBQ dinner, and play in the epic sand dunes of Fort Ord. The trip is an opportunity to get better acquainted with our beautiful Monterey Bay and connect with other young cyclists.

Biking to Monterey may seem like an ambitious endeavor, but the ride is completely manageable for all riders with some experience. We want everyone to have a great time, so we take lots of breaks to enjoy the scenery, eat good food, and stay hydrated. The ride is open to youth from anywhere in Santa Cruz County.

The ride costs $75 - 150 sliding scale, but scholarships are available! Contact us for info.
